| Bianca was the first to start
Gymnastics when she was at Allenborn School. She was spotted by the
Gym instructors as being very good and supple and it was recommended to us to
get her into one of the top Gymnastics Club in the area.
With their advice, we enrolled Bianca into "Olga Gymnastics Club" in Poole (UK) which was run by Brian & Monica Phelps who between them had won Olympic medals in Diving (Bronze 10m board) and Gymnastics for England..... Bianca took to it like duck to water and quickly moved up through the ranks within the club doing single and pairs routines on the mat. Her most popular being the Pink Panther routine which she won the Bronze in a very big competition. |

During this time Tanya had joined in the proceedings and they both joined up in Kings Park Gymnastic Club. They would travel around and do demonstrations as a team and as individuals at various Fetes, Fund raisers, etc. Also entering into various competitions for this club and Olga and between them winning a clutch of Medals (Silver/Bronze), trophy's & certificates. It never ceased to amaze most people that Bianca could not see the horse, beam, etc but would judge her run to perfection........ Just imagine you had a white T shirt tied over your eyes and then had to run full steam at a horse or do a flip on a beam.... doesn't bear thinking about...... as you can imagine this encouraged Tanya. | ||
| Bianca was moving on to the beam when it was discovered she had a natural flair for the trampoline. Brian was hoping to coach her personally in this but unfortunately a bad problem was developing in the joint of her right knee....... After much discussion with the Doctor & Brian, it was decided to take her out of the sport for a time to see if it would heal. Alas, it took a very long time and Bianca drifted on to other things. |

| During her time though, Bianca collected various medals, trophy's & certificates and encouraged Tanya into sport and Gymnastics amongst other things. | |||

|
Bianca, though she took her A levels in Graphic design and passed, is now qualified as a Holistic Therapist with Indian Head Massage and masseur. She is currently about to take a course in Aromatherapy. Tanya has completed her A levels and has gone on to Winchester University taking an Honours degree in Sports Development and then intends to take her Masters in Sports Psychology either here or in Australia. | ||
|
