Saira along with her sister Jordan have achieved so much over the years and have defied the odds and medical predictions. They have both played in their high school marching band, Saira holds a full time job while attending graduate school, and with the help of great supportive friends and family they are both mobile and have the freedom to see the world. While getting my Bachelors Degree Saira conducted two directed studies analysing the effects of pigment, or lack there of, in the eye and visual development. She has found and documented some very interesting results and continue to learn and educate those around her in albinism. |
